The price of Bitcoin appears to be satisfied with the news from the Chinese miner summit.

It appears that Segwit is on the way. Concerns about the 2M blocks in my opinion are moot. New mining equipment is on the horizon that will challenge Antminers near monopoly. The Bitcoin users concerned about centralized mining should not leverage code to address their position. Instead, use your pocketbook and go buy the new miners when they're available.

Starting a war or taking a stand against asicboost is like trying to force computer hardware manufacturers to use the original Commodore processor. Bitcoin is not controlled by hardware. Cheap electricity maybe. Both could just be an issue in time but by no means are they going to remain. New asic chips are coming soon.
