Is Star Wars Battlefront still worth purchasing?

Since the Ultimate Edition is 75% on sale, I am thinking of buying it, but I am worried if the playerbase is going to shrink or die after Battlefront 2, how does the game hold now, and would the playerbase hold up after Battlefront 2?
