Thoughts on DPS/Heals further scaling

Hey everyone, as a player from Wrath and still a player to this day it's been really interesting watching the gear and damage scaling go from such small numbers to these huge number we see today. I was wondering what your guys opinion on all this is?

Do you guys enjoy having massive hits and high DPS meters? I guess my concern lies in the future, next expansion even the one after that, these numbers are going to get ridiculous if it keeps going this way. Still finding legion super enjoyable despite missing a lot of things about past expansions, what are your thoughts on the matter?
