Ending a friendship

ADVICE

Not sexual strategy but would like to know a proper way to handle this, with grace.

Have a friend that I became close to, then slowly realized was toxic.

-She was a serious business woman, so I find her personality a bit off putting because of her aggression -Her businessman husband makes way more money than me, so much more that I can't really relate to her rich 1% lifestyle (sure you could say I might be jealous but her lifestyle is just so different) -Her husband cheated on her, which judging from our conversations is both a fault of her being a shrew wife and him being a manipulative asshole -Our conversations are either her gossiping and bitching about other mutual friends, her talking about her career very arrogantly, or her being fake friendly (I'm very good with reading people and I can tell when someone is saying something to be manipulative) -She's generally a negative and jaded person, even my boyfriend says so

So obviously I don't really enjoy her company anymore. But, she ADORES me. Probably because I'm an easygoing and sweet girl and she confides a lot in me, and I'm also not in her rich people circle.

I can't stand her but I feel a bit bad, morally, to cut her out of my life. Like I'M the one being too judgmental and not accepting enough. RPW supposedly being helpful and understanding women.

What should I do? Make excuses not to hang out? Slowly phase her out? Try to keep my distance but see her occasionally?
