Sealed VGA cooler noisy bearings(how to fix?)

The VGA is an r9 380 Gigabyte,I believe the bearings got dried out,tried to fix it removed the back sticker from the cooler and voila...sealed.The temperature at the moment is 55 60 maxing on 65 but it gets annoyingly loud in load.I`ve heard about making a hole with something hot and put some lube.Any opinions ?thank you.
