Backyard fish

Was trying to catch some Mayan ciclids or grovers (mangrove snapper) I'm my back yard and had a brief speedy drag peeling run before the fish broke off. I was using small pieces of cut mullet, so I upsized to a larger reel and sturdier leader, added a bigger more enticing chunk of mullet and added a bobber to keep it away from our sail cats (at least try to) and tossed it where I had gotten hit before. 15 minutes in and this guy took the bait. These size fellas are every where in our canal systems right now in swfl as moms come into the safe(er) canal systems to lay their pups, where they eat and get bigger before headed out to deeper water. Tight lines!
