Letting players design bases? (not construction)

I know the devs are hard at work doing different things to the game. So I was pondering on the idea of taking some of the load off the devs and giving it to the community. Base design is a huge part of the game but must be very time consuming. Is it doable to allow the community to give base designs directly to the devs?
