[QUESTION] My strings start making noises

Every time i for example start playing the g chord, my upper g starts making a weird, high pitched noisy sound. Its almost like it would be g, but an octave higher. Anyone having a clue on what im talking about and a way to fix it? It really bothers me. Edit: Its an acoustic guitar.
