Question about Scoreboard conversion.

Hello. I am making a map, where I track a players points. I would like to move those points over to another scoreboard objective if and only if there points on the first scoreboard are higher than those on the second. so if points1 > points2 -> points2 = points1. then the points 1 will reset. Is this possible? Thanks
