Digital Downloads on Switch

So I own every system Nintendo made from the NES through the Switch. I'm a little older (33) and I live in small apartment in a large city with my fiance. So needless to say space is a concern.

The Switch was the first system that I took a "no physical media" approach and I have to say I'm really happy about it. I used to travel with my 3DS frequently and would have to carry around a game case or two to keep track of everything. Also, with WiiU I would have a book of game discs. I really like having everything in one place and not having to carry anything extra. Also, buying new games is simple and there is no "retail" vs "digital" bias that I would experience in the past. Of course there are downsides like not being to sell my games, never being able to take advantage of retailer's sales or discounts, and the fear of losing the system (will Nintendo replace the games on a new Switch?). But overall I think it's the right choice for me.

Has anyone else developed a digital only mentality recently after being a physical media supporter?
