'''jsalazar3@gaming: Today at legoland, my son brought his Nintendo Switch. Random kids joined, and this pic made me realize that maybe Nintendo is onto something.

  • treestep76: I don't have a switch but could someone tell me what games they have that you can use 4 players on at the same time? Do they split screen or is it an overhead view and all 4 players are on screen at once or is it 2 players vs 2 players with only two players at once on screen with one another.
  • Tortoski: Mario kart will only split for two players in handheld mode (so two kids in the picture are audience). In tv-docked mode it will split in 4.
  • M0dusPwnens: I don't have a Switch or Mario Kart, but googling suggests you can play with four people on the Switch screen (i.e., not docked) in local multiplayer.

It goes down to two if you're playing online multiplayer.

  • Tortoski: I do have both, and I'm telling you: it's not possible

Edit: false alarm! It's possible since an update

  • nyoshii: I literally played 4 players undocked on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe launch dat
  • literallyOfficer: literally played 4 players undocked on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe launch dat?
