R9 380 to 6gb 1060

Good morning everyone,

I've been researching away at my next affordable upgrade to my system and believe the gpu could be done bang for my buck. My r9 had served me well, and I question if the 1060 6gb is a big enough leap to warrant the cost. I've been itching to move to nvidia for some time now, and a father's day Amazon gift card seems to have opened the door.

My question is, has anyone made a similar upgrade and are you satisfied with the 1060?
