Overcloking with FM2+

So I am looking to replace some of my FM1 PC parts with better parts and I found an FM2+ processor (Athlon X4 860K) which I have read can even go 4.4 gHz and be stable with the stock cooler (which I am planning to replace anyways so I can test going higher). I know from past experience and research that Intel has different motherboard chipsets for overclocking, while keeping the other chipsets locked / not usable for overclocking. Is this the same for AMD chipsets, and if yes which one should I choose for overclocking with FM2+?
