Party Mode is just Kinda Silly

The first thing I did after getting the game and doing some training was jump online to just play some games with people. I was doing really well, probably because of the extra practice I had during the testpunch. After going on aw winning streak for a while, the game decided to give me an extra challenge and set my health to 75% from the get go. At first I thought it was fun as an extra challenge, and a good way to earn some extra cash, but then it started getting rediculous. Eventually my health got set down to 50%, and it even through me into a three-for-all with 25% health (which I almost won btw). I just started to feel like the game was punishing me for being good. What has your experience with party mode been like?
