I can't write more then a page before stopping. Advice?

Every time I muster up the will to write, as I'm writing it just feels like I'm shoveling shit. I normally stop after a page and when I come back it all looks so bad that I can't make myself bother with it. Does anybody have advice or have any of you been in a similar situation?
