Will never get over the twist-am I alone? How to you reconcile it with yourself? (MGSV second play through)

So I'm started the game again for the first time since September 2015. But the twist man... I can't get over how it's not Jack/Boss doing any of this... I can't get over how he fucked over Miller and everyone he used to know. I know Boss is meant to become abit evil but I never got that impression from Peace Walker of GZ-it seems so out of character for him.

The only upside of it not being Boss is that his character was pretty underdeveloped in the game (he doesn't really even say how he feels about the coma or anything that happens) so they haven't tainted the Big Boss too much. But I still can't get over it - how do you guys make it less of an issue?

Side note - Peace Walker radio tapes were so amazing, I hate how they are pretty one sided in this game.
