Mainlining

Hello everyone! I am a newbie in the game. You could say that I am as green as that plant the we all love sooooo much! I have been doing research about mainlining and find it to be quite interesting. What I would like to know is does anyone have any good tutorials or information on the subject for outdoor/in ground plants. Is there another name for this process that I can research? Thanks in advance!
