Voyageurs/ Apostle's Islands Boat Question

My husband and I are planning on spending a few days camping and hiking in Voyageurs NP and then Apostle's Islands. It looks like there are a few trails in each area, but my concern is leaving my boat at the trail head and hoping that it's there when we get back hours later.

I know this is Canoe camping, but r/kayakcamping is pretty void of any activity. We use Oru Kayaks which have nylon/neoprene handles at the front of the boat to slip any sort of a lock through. There really isn't any sort of "hard" locking point. Advice or suggestions? Or do I just have good faith in my fellow boaters to leave my stuff be?
