Convince my wife to try camping

I love camping. My wife has never been, and has no interest in it. I think she'd enjoy it if I can convince her. Has anyone successfully converted a non-outdoorsy SO? Any good tips for me? I can still camp with friends, of course, but I'd love to share the camping experience with her!
