[ME2 spoilers] In relationship with Liara from ME1?

Hi guys,

I imported my renegade Shep from ME1 that romanced Liara in ME2. I did the LotSB missions mid-game, and had a discussion with Liara that basically made us "on a break" so I could be renegade and do renegade stuff with the rest of the crew. The frame in my cabin was face down for the rest of the game, more or less.

I kept being nice to Kelly and Tali, but focused on Miranda, so I got her "romantic option" before the suicide mission. After completing the mission (and saving Kelly), I broke up with her, thinking that I would just go to ME3 with Kelly as LI.

But I discovered I could still romance Tali after that, which I did, thinking "4 in the same playthrough, that's renegade AF" (because yeah, I enjoyed the Jack alternative since I was renegade anyway).

So I broke up with Tali afterwards but nothing happens with Kelly. And when I go to my cabin... Liara is displayed on the frame?! I can't even really talk to her when I go to the SB base...

So I guess I'm "condemned" to import this save with Liara as my LI in ME3 then... Or is there anything special I can do? Seems like I'm out of options here.
