How to trigger Spotify Chromecast app on Chromebook

Hi, my problem is that since Spotify on Chromebooks work through open.spotify, I can't launch the Chomecast Spotify app on my CB, and can only use it if it was opened before through another device. Is there a way to start it without having to first start it using my phone and then control it with my CB?
