DAE knows when a deck actually gets shuffled?

I am playing a nilfgaard deck of my own with [[Treason]] and [[Xarthisius]].

I have noticed the following:

  1. Some cards of my opponent explicitly tell me they will shuffle cards back into the deck, thus the bottom card of a deck is changed
  2. Some cards do not affect the deck at all but still the deck gets reshuffled. (often spawn units).
    3)Some cards affect the deck but they do not state explicitly whether the deck gets shuffled.

I wonder if anyone else really know when a deck gets shuffled? (e.g. also always in between round? Only when a card gets mulligand? etc.)

If a deck gets shuffled more than I anticipated it seriously changes the use of treason. A change might be that Xarthisius "locks" a card at the bottom of a deck? Feedback welcome.

The deck is only shuffled when a card is used that looks at the entire deck, aka King Bran and Stefan Skellen

When a card is shuffled back into the deck the rest of the deck doesn't get shuffled, only the card is placed in a random spot (which may be the bottom).

What about when cards are taken out of a deck?

Assuming you are talking about summoning units. The rest of the cards stay in the same order.

For something like Joachim the order stays the same. For something like Emissary the order stays the same and the un-picked card is shuffled back. There are times when the entire deck is shuffled such as King Bran but in that case it is explicitly stated.

Still not very solid, just lost a game where [[Madman Lugos]] made the deck get shuffled :/

It is fine I am dealing with it and my deck. I just really regret the consistency and planning can get screwed up by cards that do not explicitly mention deck getting shuffled.
