Season 11 meta

I missed last season, but will be playing season 11 with some friends. They will likely be playing necro, but I'm open for anything. I assume there wasn't any huge meta shifts.. firebats, pull babr, tank monk, wizard/gen monk, but I wanted to check. Curious as to what is good for group speed clears/top speed build for t13 4 man or w/e for season 11. Not likely I will play any tank class, but I want something good for the expected meta ever that is. I will probably do the most farming/heavy lifting. So bottom line question, what is a good class for some solid speed rift carries and does well in the 4 many grift progression meta.

Season 10 was the first season I played Demon Hunter and the Shadows Mantle build seemed stupid powerful and surprisingly easy to gear.

There weren't many changes. Impale DH got a lot stronger and has more consistent damage than a lighting wizard. Mid-season the LoN spirit barrage WD was rediscovered as an aoe damage dealer in grifts (harder to gear but plays without any lags).

If you play as support it's still easy to find a good group.

For T13 you can play almost anything and even public games are really fast nowadays. To access T13 you need to clear a solo 60 which keeps out badly geared characters.

If you want to be able to trade items with your necro friends you should play as wizard. If you want to play support with the option for a good dps you should play monk.

Is there somewhere they have all the non necro change logs listed? I can only find the latest ptr notes but they're only relative to previous builds, not live...

I was leaning wizard as it was. Likely the path I will go. Wasn't sure if there was a solid WD build to carry speed clears. I've mad jade work in the past and HT garg is always easy, but the pet AI can really kill a clear.

The Arachyr build is great for clearing dense mobs in rifts, Zuni is good for single target damage, especially with the dart setup.

I'm going to play Demon Hunter for my first character then do a Necro as my second. You get the UE set free. Which is good for speed farming. The Shadow Mantle set un-optimized can easily do a 70 grift so you can start unlocking primal ancients.
