Yeah definitely had been seeing her for a while. I guess they just paid him enough since as the woman said, he wasn't ready to take care of them meaning that he didn't actually care too much about them.

I like that rumour. Like Guzman (i think said it) later on saying you can do what you want to us, but dont do that!

In real life, Clavel was a family member I believe Gueros wife's brother in law. I never heard about Arellanos ordering the killing. I believe the true story is that he forced her to go to bank and take out all her cash and afterwards murdered her and the kids. After he was jailed its rumored he was raped and beat for days until he was dead 

I dont get how long the guy who killed the wife and kids of Chapo's right hand man was seeing the wife. Surely he must have been seeing her for a while, im sure longer than the avendano's and chapo were at war, so that bit doesnt seem to add up. Still a shockingly good scene though

The murders caught me completely by surprise. I thought he'd be tracked down and killed. Guero's wife's betrayal would distract Guero from the war and inhibit his ability to help Chapo. I was way off!
