Cult Favorite [Dark Comedy]

Looking for opinions on these two log lines I'm working with. It's for a 30 min single cam dark comedy pilot. Also, if you're interested in reading the script, lemme know!

1. An insecure millennial actress meets a charismatic cult leader and is beguiled into joining a clan of psuedo-spiritual wackjobs.

2. When an insecure twenty-something is seduced by a self-proclaimed guru goddess, she befriends a clan of spiritual devotees and gets lured into leaving her ordinary life behind.

Any suggestions? Which is stronger? Would you combine any language from the first and the second? Do they totally suck? Get at me.
