Updated GFX Drivers now Mic wont work

I just updated my GTX 950 drivers to the lates, then rolled back, and now my mic wont work on my headset i normally use. I use a phone headset that has an attached mic. So I have a Y splitter that splits the mic line and the sound line to be able to plug into my PC. I have tested all the connections with another headset and the splitter works fine, the main extension works.

So for some reason its just not working with this specific headset. Any suggestions would be very appreciated
