Featural Writing System - Can It Be Dyslexia-proof?

Hello everyone!

I asked in r/conlangs, and they sent me here. I'm making an auxlang with my girlfriend, and we want to make a featural writing system somewhere between an abugida and an abjad (optional vowels, but the vowels are separate glyphs). Would it be possible to make easy for someone with dyslexia to differentiate between each glyph? I know that it's possible to change the shape in certain ways so they're unique, but would adding lines to existing glyphs to show different sounds be too much for most with dyslexia to handle? Any help is very appreciated.
