All the parmesan...gone

I used to work in a small pizza restaurant a few years back. I worked at the counter answering phones and giving people their take out order, and taking orders at tables (just 6 booths).

A few days into the new job, the other girl working lets me know about some weird customers they have. Apparently there was a couple (middle aged husband and wife) and they would come in, sit down, order the same pizza every time, and each time their shaker of parmesan cheese would be empty.

One day she lets me know they're coming in, because we could see them out the front window. She quickly went and took the shakers off the booth they like to sit in so they'd have to request the cheese.

I take their order, they eat, and they leave, never requesting any cheese. I go to clean up and see they took two shakers off a nearby booth and emptied them! Completely! I had just filled them. I don't know if they're taking this cheese home or they literally put it all on the pizza.

I recently thought about this and had to share this story of the Great Parmesan Disappearance.
