Pwm Fan controller suggestion and cable sleeve color suggestion

So I'm looking for a fan comtroller that has a true pwm output to control my corsair ml fans. I tried one that connects via 4 pin to my motherboard and that did not work. So I'm looking for one that goes in the 5.25 slot or one that connects via internal USB 2.0 slot.

Also trying to figure out what color cables to go with my build. The motherboard is black with gold heatsinks (ecs z77 golden). The cpu and gpu are watercoooled, looking to chose a color for the water as well, it's clear on clear atm.

I'm thinking black cables with 2 gold accent cables would work. What other color options go well?

For the water I'm debating between pastel white or red or blue. Not sure.
