Tdap shot conversation led to huge fight...

My husband and I just got into a huge fight over getting the tdap shot. I want to get it, and he thinks I'm just listening to whatever the doctors tell me to do so they can make more money and inject me with a bunch of things.

I'm so incredibly frustrated that after explaining to him that my doctor told me whooping cough is on the rise, and the pediatrics office in the same building had 14 cases in one week. My husband basically told me that I'm risking my child's health and that he doesn't want to hear me talk about having a natural birth if I'm just going to get whatever shot the doctors suggest. I feel completely broken and confused about what to do.

Is anyone not getting the tdap shot?

UPDATE: I appreciate how supportive everyone is. After a lot of explaining, looking up local and national stats, and calling close friends that recently had kids, I think that I've gotten through to him. He is coming with me to my next appointment in two weeks, so hopefully it goes well.
