Goon Grease appreciation post and a question
Over the weekend, I went camping in Arizona. Since temperatures were up to 120° F, I packed Goon Grease for that heavy hold. The area we camped didn't give us much access to a proper bathroom, our showers were baby wipes and the occasional cold water bucket. I ran water through my hair daily, but I used no soap for my hair (I normally wash with Aleppo soap). Throughout the trip, my hair held. It didn't matter if the bandana I was wearing, the wind, or the sheer heat of the sun screwed up my hair, a couple runs through it with my hands and it looked as good as when I first styled it. Holy shit, Lockharts you two are awesome.
Now the question, though my hair was super easy to screw up, it was also super easy to restyle. The hold went to hell because of the heat and daily torture overall, but the ease of styling was super easy and I had little to no flyaways. Is this what light pomades do? Because if it is, light pomades seem like a nice option to go for.
