Apparently Mcdonald's (or any fast food, except pizza) don't do deliveries in US.

I'm not from the states, but I have a friend there, and told me that apparently if you were craving for a big mac, you'd have to drive to McD. Is this true? If so, why? On a side note, that must suck, cause you have to drag your sad excuse for a body to mcdonald's instead of waiting for delivery while you binge watch sad movies on netflix.
