[Question] With the gym rework, is there a need to keep low CP (1000-1500) mons that I had saved for gym prestige?

I had saved some mons for gym prestige ranging from 1000-1500 CP so that they are almost half of the CP of mons on gyms. With the rework, I do not see the need to keep them (low IVs and CP). Should I just get rid pf them?
