Why the Hell are they adding Black and Brown stripes to the LGBTQ+ flag?
For those who aren't aware, the Pride flag is composed of six different colours that each represent their own thing.
Red equals life, Orange equals healing, Yellow equals sunlight, Green equals nature, Blue equals harmony and Purple equals spirituality.
The Community is about those who are oppressed due to their sexuality, which is anything and anything other than heterosexuality. This includes all manners of people: gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual, pansexual, non-binary/agender, etc. Notice how in there, there is nothing at all about race. Just sexual preferences and genders.
Apparently, they're adding Black and Brown to the flag to show how people of darker skin tones can be accepted by society. I'm sorry, but what the fuck does having a darker skin pigment have to do with wanting to fuck somebody of the same gender? It doesn't.
Don't misconstrue this as me being prejudiced against black people. I'm all about equality, regardless of skin colour or sexual preference. But why are people adding race to a community dedicated to sexuality?
It's already bad enough that some backwards fuckers are trying to get pedophilia added to the community, but that's a rant for another day.
Geez, I can't wait to see all of these people coming out as black.
