[OHIO] Please Help - Must File an Objection to Adoption of Daughter by Friday

Custody Divorce and Family

Situation: My daughter and I have been estranged for almost 2 years. I live across the country from her, and the situation with her mother is just... it's just horrible. My daughter is months away from turning 18, and all of the contact I've had with her in the last couple of years has been through text or facebook messages (to which I cannot even conclude that it is her), and I get no answer from phone calls. I have very little money and resources so traveling across the country on the off-chance that she would speak to me has not been a possibility. I have relatives nearby her, and they have been turned away by her mother as well. I received a notice that her stepfather is trying to adopt her, and I am required to file an objection and appear in court if I wish to object to it.

This seems like a shit move on her mother's part to make a permanent mark, given that she is so close to being 18. I won't claim that I am a great father, or even a good one, but I'm not a horrible one, and the only thing I have right now is the hope that we can repair our relationship sometime in the future (likely when she is an adult and not under so much of her mother's influence). I had a very similar situation with my own father.

What I need: I have only a few days with which to file an objection, and it can submitted by email, and I am wondering if there is anyone who can assist me with writing it properly, or point me to a resource as I have had no luck finding something (maybe I'm not using the right search terms). It need only cover the minimum requirement of "filing an objection" as far as I am concerned, so that I meet the deadline set forth (6/26/2017). I fix computers. I don't know jack about law. I am figuring out a way to get a lawyer for the hearing, but it is not a possibility within the next couple of weeks.
