Thinking about putting another Gaming Rig together

Brothers and Sisters,

I am in the market to build another rig. I have one that i built about 3 years ago and shes still going strong, but i want to get my girlfriend into PC gaming and i will be giving her my older rig.

I have a budget of about $1700 dollars. I dont need peripherals as i have a bunch. Any thoughts or advice would be great! I was thinking about buying a pre-built but that takes all the fun from building!
