AC Seperation - Healing time and diagnosis

Hey all,

I have had a bas shoulder for about 6 weeks which has stopped me from going to the gym but I thought it was just a small strain, after a (pretty bad) fall on the ice in hockey last Saturday I decided to see adoctor and get an XRAY the XRAY came back as a An acromioclavicular joint separation, . Most webistes and my doctor say that it's just advil and waiting at this point but I wanted to get a second opinion. take a look at the XRAYS and let me know if you have any other tips,
