Server Disappeared

Hey guys, so my buds and I just bought this game and started playing a server called "Galaxies on Fire Galactic Inferno" or something of that sorts. After some glitchiness and subsequent backing out it doesn't show up for me anymore, but my friends can still access it (and I can subsequently join off them). Is this a common problem? Did I screw something up?
