House of Cards Season 5 tiny fix (spoilers)

While House of Cards has a few unfortunate irritants (namely actors signing other contracts and new characters being clumsily worked in as replacements), the one point I'd like to address are the asides (what some people call "breaking the 4th wall").

They're great, and I like that Claire started using them. She first looked straight at the camera at the end of season 4, along with Francis, then talked to the audience in mid-season 5, then finally said "It's my turn now" at the end of season 5. I feel the impact would have been much stronger if she had only done that last aside. The mid-season 5 aside was a surprise, but it diluted the one in the finale.
