Channeler's Trident

Is there a simpler way to get this than 10 Humanity, Covetous Serpent Ring, and luck? I've been trying for hours with no luck. It's the only part of the game that legitimately hasn't been fun.

I finally got one, beat Gwyn, and then immediately got another in the undead parish on NG+3. F me. If anyone wants one after I make it to the giant blacksmith again, let me know.
