Ashley Marin Theory

I saw someone posted a theory about Ella so I thought why not post one about Ashley. Please note that this theory is unlikely to happen and Ashley is my favourite PLL mom. I'm just posting this theory for fun since the show is ending.

As a theorist, pretty much everyone is on my suspect list and Ashley Marin is no exception. The theory is that Ashley is Bethany's biological mother. I think that was why Tom and Ashley had a divorce. I'm guessing that she had an affair somewhere in the past and Tom found out. I think she dated Wilden to not only help Hanna with her stealing case but also hoping that Wilden will provide her some answers about Bethany since he was a cop but Wilden was never going to tell her anything. He was probably using her for pleasure. I think she started looking for answers again when she found Cece's clothes in that room when she was working for Jessica. Cece told Holbrook "I know who killed that girl. The one you thought was Alison Dilaurentis." Perhaps Ashley saw Cece wearing the same clothes and she somehow connected the dots and she confronted Cece and Cece told her that she knew Bethany. I think Cece was going to meet Ashley at the church tower to tell her who killed Bethany but then she was killed before she even got the chance. That's when Ashley found the body and decided to start the game to find her killer. Aria asked A.D "Why are you doing this? What do you think you'll get out of it?" And A.D said "Everything".

Here are some of the reasons why I suspected her :

1. She stole Mrs Potter's money and then Mrs Potter suddenly died.

2. She dated Wilden who was connected to Cece.

3. She dated Pastor Ted who happens to be Cece's father.

4. She tried to kill Wilden by hitting him with her car but then it turns out Cece was the one who killed him instead.

5)Mrs Grunwald told Hanna that she sensed a darkness around Hanna and Caleb and that the source of the threat against her is close...very close.

6. She now manages the Radley which some of the A.D minions have stayed and she has access to all the security footages, key cards, bills/receipt and uniforms(bellhop, concierge, maid, etc).

7. She saw one of the twins on Halloween.

8. Hanna tried to trick A.D by lying about being Cece's killer. A.D knew that she was lying. Ashley has a way of telling whenever Hanna is lying.

9. When Hanna and Ashley were talking at Radley, Hanna said "I've never seen you like this" and Ashley said "What are you talking about? I'm always trying to help you." and Hanna said "Yeah but you're never so quick to think that I need it".

10. Red hair can be spotted when A.D handed over the binder to Jenna. Many people said it looked like Paige's hair but I felt like it looked more like Ashley's. Here's a picture of them side by side.

We have seen Mona hitting her bff with her car, Jessica burying her own daughter, Cece attacking her own cousin(sister at that time), having a mother torturing her daughter could be a new one. Besides, I think she felt bad afterwards, realizing that Hanna and the others really didn't know who killed Cece, she decided to wear a Spencer mask and went back to comfort her and told her that there was a way out. And who knows, maybe it was also her twisted way of getting Hanna and Caleb back together since we've seen A.D has kinda helped all the couples got back together as well.

I know some of y'all have already said that none of the parents could be A.D. This theory is just for fun.
