Confused but able to handle the situation now

Tried going back to platonic friends with the ex. Now we don't talk everyday or anything like that maybe once a week or so. Our conversations are usually pretty basic and well rather boring (they used to be fun obviously lol) but now things are different. Everything seemed to be going ok but yesterday she sent a suggestive text or something to stir a possible sexual conversation while she was on a vacation. Didn't really make much sense but I thought while on a vacation she'd have better things to do? Haha. Anyway I diverted the conversation to something much more basic and shut that down quickly to which she wasn't probably happy. The me from the breakup two months or so ago would've jumped on that. Progress has been made.

I think I'll go back to NC just to let the dust settle a little bit. I'm doing so much better too btw!This is just my only place to talk about things and this community is great.
