Any useful or essential apps?

Hey everyone, I used B9S and got CFW on my 3DS about a month ago, I'm using Luma. A friend helped me set the whole thing up and I've been able to get games but I was wondering, are there any essential or useful apps I should be getting? Also how would I go about the process? Thank you.
