Does my HP Pavilion have a snowballs chance of this game running remotely smoothly?

I have a 2 year old HP Pavilion and just installed the game. I deleted all the other games i had downloaded and set the graphics as low as possible and it still lags like crazy. Even the audio is fucked up. Is there something I can do to get it running or is my computer a potato.
