Every day, I feel like a dodged a bullet. Every day, I feel blessed.

#Blessed

My last relationship lasted eight months. At the time, I was about as blue-pilled as a man could be. I was naive, ignorant of the manipulative nature of women, and utterly blind to the red flags my partner exhibited.

A few weeks into our relationship, (which I thought was quite stable up until this point,) she threw a tantrum after I made some comment that upset her. I couldn't quite understand what it was that offended her so, and she couldn't seem to rationalize that I meant no offense. She said we were through and proceeded to dodge my calls for a few days.

I believed she was something special, a one-in-a-million kind of gal that I was in no way worthy of having as a girlfriend. (Laughable, I know.) I was devastated and couldn't imagine living without her. Eventually she got in touch with me, and after I apologized profusely for whatever it was I did wrong, she decided we could 'try again.'

She was so emotionally unstable over the next few months, I sometimes ask myself why on earth did I put up with her bullshit for as long as I did. I suppose if I had a pair of balls at the time, I would have dumped her ass on the spot. She would break up with me for a few days over nonsense, and then ask if we could get back together. She was incapable of having a rational discussion if we disagreed on something, yet she frequently tried to start up these arguments with me. If it didn't end in her being upset and not talking to me, it would end in her shaming me for being an objectively terrible person, because I didn't agree with her political or religious opinions or whatever. It was a never ending storm of shit testing. But she knew I was such a beta-male cuck that I wouldn't dare try to provoke her or leave her.

Then she starting asking about marriage, and wanted to talk more and more about what our future together would look like. She even started looking for a house. Eventually I had enough and came to my senses, and I told her we were through. And good Lord, I had never seen her more frustrated than when I told her off. She couldn't understand why this was a toxic relationship for me, even after I tried to explain it to her. She then tried to act all innocent and easy-going afterwards, as though she were trying to lure me back in. So I ignored her. This must have made her more attracted to me, as a month later she gave me her sad story about how I was the love of her life, how she couldn't live without me, and a bunch of other bullshit. And I told her to take a hike.

I discovered MGTOW shortly after. I was trying to figure out if she was just a bad apple, or if all women were like that. Because this wasn't the first toxic relationship I had been in. I truly believed there were plenty of loving, rational, beautiful women out there, and that I just hadn't found one yet. MGTOW opened my eyes and showed me how pointless it is to search for unicorns in a pit of snakes.

This was nearly two years ago, and my life since then has been absolutely incredible. I've dedicated my spare-time to improving my physique, and to studying the areas of science and philosophy that I find most intriguing. I wake up in the morning and I feel happy. Just happy. No woman, no debt, no worries. And I have MGTOW to thank for this freedom.

TL;DR: I was in a toxic relationship for 8 months. After many shit-tests and blatant manipulation, I broke up with her. Then I discovered MGTOW, and no longer need a woman in my life. Two years later, I now live life to the fullest in that way I deem best.
