TiVO / Plex Direct Stream Questions

I saw TiVo Bolt can direct stream H.264 and H.265. In our house, we have a roamio (now), and several TiVO mini's for our upstairs TVs. If I were to upgrade to the Bolt, would I be able to stream in 1080p and direct stream H.264? Or is that only on the Bolt device?
