Let's Plan Ahead - What are your first steps when you finish for the year?

For me, it goes in a specific order:

  1. Set an automated, out-of-office email.
  2. Disable email sync from all mobile devices until 20th August.
  3. File away all paperwork by subject in a storage box and leave in college/nondescript cupboard at home.
  4. Push all formal wear to the back of the wardrobe and bring out casual holiday clothes from a storage box.
  5. Change bags around from a massive, teacher bag (carrying emergency everythings) to a more normal-sized bag.

Then I veg out for a few days and think about what a year I've had. :)

So, what are your immediate first steps once you step out of the school/college/university for the last time for this godforsaken academic year of 2016-17??
