After formatting PC and migrating it to an SSD it is starting to freeze/perform worse

Hey, I have a Dell Inspiron 7567 Laptop. I bought an SSD for it so I decided to format and migrate it.

Now I have formatted it using the system recover partition (which should include all the drivers) and installed a few things (Visual Studio, Chrome and a few games). But noticed that whenever its under load (for example when in a game) it would freeze. Generally it will get stuck every few seconds for a second or two. I looked it up and it appeared to be an HDD issue, I looked it up and even though I had my game on my 2ndary HDD my main SSD was spiking randomly every few seconds. Which might explain the issue.

However I am not really sure if that is the right issue or how to fix it. Also I've noticed that for many games the performance seems to be worse. I checked that I am running from my Graphics Card (and I am) so I am not sure what the issue is.
