Optical Port Shot on my TV

So the port on my TV is shot I guess. Works sometimes and then it doesn't for awhile. Cable is fine it's an audiquest forest so for now my fix is running optical straight from my consoles which is fine but I have to switch out and it mean I have to run my netflix through a console which is more power than I wanna use for such a simple task.

Any cheap fixes? My Soundbar only takes optical and I have a Geek Squad plan on the TV but I got it on crazy sale and I don't have the money yet to pay the difference for something
