I shaved my head and my boyfriend feels disrespected.

I told my boyfriend I've been wanting to cut all my hair off because I wasn't feeling beautiful with my hair from all the damage I put it through. He expressed he doesn't like the shaved look on girls. I took that into consideration. Told I still wanted to do it. Shaved my head today, I am super in love and feel so renewed. He hates it, keeps saying I disrespected him, he wont be able to have sex with me until it grows out, and that I don't care about his feelings. Im about to call it quits. Thoughts?
